LEAD FACULTY

Dick Larson
Dick Larson is the Mitsui Professor in the MIT Institute for Data, Systems, and Society. He is author, co-author, or editor of six books and author of over 85 articles, primarily in the fields of urban service systems (especially emergency response systems), queuing, logistics, disaster management, disease dynamics, dynamic pricing of critical infrastructures, education, and workforce planning.

Steven Goldman
Steven Goldman is an internationally recognized expert and consultant in business continuity, crisis management, disaster recovery, pandemic preparation and response, and crisis leadership. A former Global Business Continuity Program Manager of a Fortune 500 company, Dr. Goldman has over 30 years of hands-on experience in all aspects of these critical disciplines.

Sandra Galletti 
Sandra Galletti is the Assistant Director, Crisis Courses at MIT. She is Head of Operations at Tidona Comunicazione in Milan, Italy, responsible for Continuing Legal Education Programs for financial institutions operating in Italy. Prior to joining Tidona Comunicazione, Sandra was a Manager at Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles reporting directly to the President of International Distribution. Before joining Warner Bros., she was a legal consultant for American start-up companies expanding operations in Brazil. Ms. Galletti holds a JD Degree (Juris Doctor) from Mackenzie University (São Paulo, Brazil) and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University (Los Angeles).
